Comal Forge makes custom hand crafted, wrought iron hardware and is located in the Texas Hill Country, south of New Braunfels between Austin and San Antonio. We have been making high quality, hand forged ironwork since 1984.
Our line includes custom wrought iron cabinet and other hardware, custom branding irons, wrought iron crosses and other decorative iron items for the home or ranch. We also produce accents such as wrought iron coat racks, plant hangers, hand forged iron wall hooks, boot or mud scrapers and custom wrought iron sconces. Our home furnishings include a variety of wrought iron kitchen tool accessories like forged barbecue forks, ladles, spatulas and wrought iron fireplace tools.
Forged wrought iron home furnishings complement many interior decoration styles such as homes built in Colonial, Mission or Southwest motifs. Rustic iron hardware has a simple, unadorned character and blends well with restorations, primitive styled lodge decor and log homes. Ranchers, cowboys and horse lovers will appreciate our wrought iron hooks and racks for both home and barn use to hang up bridles, tack and sporting items such as firearms and fishing rods. Our hand forged iron primitive camping equipment is designed to provide historians and re-enactors with period-accurate supplies from the early days of Texas, Civil War and Revolutionary War times or may be used by guides, outfitters and the occasional camper who wants authenticity coupled with rugged design.
We expect each of our hand forged, wrought iron items should last for many generations. While we realize that styles and décor change with the years, we believe that our products are sturdy enough to be handed down as heirlooms. Although usually simple in design and function, a hand-crafted fireplace set or cooking tool can possess an understated personality and elegance not found in mass produced products.
